I “thought” I set things up properly in advance, but I must not have done it correctly. I followed the instructions on the following page: http://wpdrudge.com/build-drudge-report-website-wordpress In particular, I “thought” I followed the Static Link instructions under #2, #3, and #6, but nothing shows up on the homepage. I’ve gone through the steps a half-dozen times. Still nothing. I mean, this isn’t rocket science, how hard can it be? Any thoughts? Looking forward to any help. Thanks, D 5/22/2016 at 8:39 am Dennis UPDATE: OK, I figured out how to get the Static Link to post on the homepage. The only problem now is that it posted the Static Link in triplicate. That means I do not correctly understand “Containers” and “Static Link” widgets as described in Instructions #2 and #3. Back to the drawing board. Any helpful thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. D 5/23/2016 at 1:22 pm PROPER Web Dennis, Got your support email and answered just now. For anyone else having this issue, it looks to be a problem with the widgets being added to the wrong column (possibly). 3/23/2020 at 6:57 pm rolandbiron I’m having the same problem. Can you please let me know the solution of making static links show up on homepage? 3/20/2021 at 2:51 pm antisocialdesign Did anyone else’s wordpress update and have the option of even creating Static Links disappear on the left side menu? I still see the option to create a Post, but nothing for Static Links anymore. Author Posts Viewing 5 posts - 1 through 5 (of 5 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
