    Working on http://surf4u.com/space-rock-music-masterpiece-is-timeless-2/

    Want to hide the Tags: and Categories: links.

    Can’t seem to find how to hide those elements in this theme with display: none CSS

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    To hide tags and categories, please open single.php in the theme folder. The look for the following two lines:

    $output = str_replace( '[tags]', get_the_tag_list( '', ', ', '' ), $output );
    $output = str_replace( '[categories]', get_the_category_list( '', ', ', '' ), $output );

    Now replace them with the following:

    $output = str_replace( 'Tags: [tags]<br>Categories: [categories]', '', $output );

    Hope this helps. Thanks.

    Hey! This worked perfectly, thank you. I didn’t see it til a few days ago. Much appreciated, thanks again.

    BTW, I found an easier solution to this. In the Text tab of wp-drudge options,
    under “Page and post” you can just remove the meta elements you don’t want.
    this way you don’t need to edit single.php
