    Can you add the ‘kitchen sink’ text editing buttons (underline, text color, paste from Word, paste plain text) to the ‘Headline blurb’ field?

    Font color and underline are the most important. I know you can get those things in by using the Text Editor instead of the Visual Editor, but that is too much for the actual editor of the site to deal with, and really shouldn’t be necessary.

    He isn’t very computer savvy and is freaking out that he can’t manually change the font color in the ‘headline blurb’ section. For now, I told him to use the ‘body’ field and to select “use body copy” from the ‘blurb override’ dropdown, but that obviously isn’t ideal.

    If you could show me how to add this functionality now, I would really appreciate it. I don’t care how much of a hack it is, I don’t even care if I have to modify the parent theme files directly. Thanks!

    Ok, I changed line 117 of metas.php from

    'teeny' => TRUE,

    to

    'teeny' => FALSE,

    Seems to do the trick. Please let me know if you think that will break anything. Appears to work at the moment…

    Yes, that’s the switch. No adverse consequences at all there.
